Ok, so this isn't really tonal, but it's something different. I've had a brushpen sitting around for a long time and I've never really done much with it, so I decided to play around with it the other night. This one came out alright...
I was thinking the same thing. May those European artists really engrained that image of Jesus in our heads.
I must say that I do really like the bold sharp lines you get out of the .5 mechanical. I have used that for sketches in the past and know how soft it is. Unless you are using a very hard lead???

Yeah, I was thinking jesus when I saw the guy, he definitely fits the part.
ReplyDeleteJeremy - I use HB lead. I think the sharpness of the lines just comes from the direct mark making that I was talking about in the last post.
